Rickshawalla Madhubani

To stay away from the Indian Deities paintings for a while I decided to draw something modern yet contemporary and which would look good in Madhubani style and I came up with this πŸ˜€

This is another time I used oil paints, and I’m quite satisfied with the results, though there’s a full room for improvements πŸ™‚

I made this on a A5 size canvas, and drew the pattern using the squares method where you draw equal number of squares in both the canvas/sheet and the pattern you want to draw and try copying the painting with a pencil because initially you are bound to make mistakes :P.

So tell me how are my efforts, I’m waiting πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

These Madhubani (I didn’t knew the meaning of the word, until now) paintings are really good. I love the choice of colours especially, they are so vibrant.
